The magazine was first introduced in September 1932, but due to political reasons, in November 1978, the name had to be changed to “Knisja Missjunarja”. The new name lasted 25 years, as in February 2003, it was reverted to its original name – “Malta Missjunarja” and it was given a new format. The September 2007 edition will mark the magazine’s 75th Anniversary and another change is expected to give the magazine a modern image.
